TAS Paddle Club is part of 'The Adventure Singles' a fun and friendly UK-wide community for single adventurers.

🛶 What is TAS Paddle Club?

TAS Paddle Club is a relaxed way to enjoy water based adventures with others, safely and confidently. It’s also a way for hosts and attendees to take part in events through TAS with proper cover and support, thanks to our official affiliation with Paddle UK.

We welcome all types of water activities, paddle-boarding, kayaking, wild swimming, canoeing, and more throughout the UK.

By joining TAS Paddle Club, you're also joining Paddle UK (formerly British Canoeing) through us.

That means:

✅ You're insured for all TAS Paddle Club events
✅ You can choose to add a club-use waterways licence to your membership for just £20/year
✅ We follow national safety guidance and best practices
✅ It’s the safest, easiest way to run or attend paddle events with TAS

💡 Please note: The £20 waterways licence option IS optional and only covers you while taking part in official TAS events.
A full individual licence directly from Paddle UK costs £50+, so this is a significant club discount made possible through our affiliation.

🛑 Important:
This licence is issued to TAS Paddle Club under our Paddle UK affiliation. It is not a personal licence. It:

• ✅ Covers craft listed under the club and used during official TAS events
  
  

• ❌ Does not cover personal paddling or use outside the club
  
  

• ❌ Does not act as a substitute for a full individual licence
  
  

If you paddle regularly outside TAS, we recommend purchasing a full personal membership directly from Paddle UK.
